Watson Twins son un duo musical americano con sede en Los Ángeles con influencias country alternativo y el indie folk . Son hermanas gemelas idénticas llamadas Chandra y Leigh Watson .
Chandra y Leigh nacieron el 28 de marzo de 1975 en Tulsa, Oklahoma y se criaron en Louisville , Kentucky . Asistieron a la Universidad de Evansville y luego se mudaron al vecindario Silver Lake de Los Ángeles, California, en 1997, donde fueron miembros fundadores y cantantes de respaldo de la banda local Slydell. También comenzaron a escribir su propia música y tocar con otros músicos.
En 2006, Watson Twins lanzaron su primer EP, Southern Manners , casi simultáneamente con Rabbit Fur Coat , su colaboración con la cantante y compositora Jenny Lewis . Su álbum Fire Songs fue lanzado el 24 de junio de 2008 y el 9 de febrero de 2010 lanzaron " Talking To You, Talking To Me ", ambos en Vanguard Records .
El duo grabó una versión de la canción de Neil Young " Powderfinger " para el álbum de compilación de American Laundromat Records, titulado Cinnamon Girl - Mujeres artistas, cubierta de Neil Young para Charity , lanzada en febrero de 2008.
