Estilo: Country
Representante de una generación de músicos que le dieron un sonido propio a la música country (“Bakersfield Sound”), Buck Owens fue el creador de un estilo con sello propio que tuvo, con el correr de los años, muchos adeptos y que en su momento representó una refrescante alternativa al “Nashville Sound” imperante en los ’60 y ’70. La vigencia musical de este nuevo estilo hizo que se ganara un lugar de privilegio entre los más grandes exponentes que ha dado la música country a lo largo de su historia.
