Madonna, Louis Veronica Ciccone Fortin, nació el 16 de agosto de 1958 en Bay City Michigan, cerca de Detroit en los Estados Unidos. A lo largo de toda su carrera Madonna ha estado rodeada de la controversia. Siempre ha buscado provocar, siempre ha querido que la gente discuta sobre lo que ella representa. Aún hoy, ya madura y más reflexiva en sus opiniones, sigue siendo desafiante, crítica e inteligente. Quizás porque supo lo que es estar abajo, quizás porque supo lo que significa ascender, pero fundamentalmente porque tiene la sensibilidad para entender un entorno superficial.
